Hall at Fauntleroy Wedding :: Lauren+Sean
This Hall at Fauntleroy Wedding was a dream. I can’t thank Lauren+Sean enough for having me there to photograph their big day! I photographed this wedding as an Associate Photographer for Joanna Monger Photography while she was on maternity leave and huge thanks for trusting me with this big event.
To start, the bridal party got ready at Gatewood Inn in West Seattle, where they started out their day. What a lovely little inn tucked away right in the heart of West Seattle. Lauren and her bridesmaids all got their hair & makeup done and donned their wedding attire. Lauren’s gorgeous lace topped wedding gown was just perfect for her. And the bridesmaids’ long pink dresses were just right for the day.
Lauren+Sean had their First Look on the balcony of the Gatewood Inn once everyone was ready. It was a perfect tucked away spot for a quiet moment together. And for seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. After some bridal party photos, the whole wedding party piled into the Big Woody Bus and next went to Lincoln Park in West Seattle.
Next, we took family photos and formal couples portraits of Lauren+Sean at Lincoln Park. I wanted to photographed them all day long. Because, what a gorgeous couple. And even more than that, they are truly just the most genuine people. Lauren has a big laugh and an even bigger heart! And Sean is the kindest, gentlest man. Most of all, they compliment each other in so many wonderful ways.
Their Hall at Fauntleroy Wedding Ceremony was very special. My favorite part of the Ceremony: Lauren’s father responded with “Lauren is a strong independent woman and she comes here herself with the support of her mother and I” when asked who gives this woman to be married to this man. (Maybe I don’t have that word for word but that was the sentiment.)
Lauren+Sean’s Reception was filled with laughter and fun, with truly touching and wonderful toasts by Lauren’s parents and the two maids of honor and two best men. Once all of the formalities wrapped up, the dance floor opened and it was JAM packed with almost every guest breaking it down! I could barely move. I think one of my favorite parts of the day was Sean and his groomspeople performing a choreographed dance for Lauren. It was both hysterical and completely amazing!
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day, Lauren+Sean. xoxo Cheryl
