Lord Hill Farms Wedding Photography :: Kaarin+Jeff
Once again, I had the honor of photographing Kaarin+Jeff’s Lord Hill Farms Wedding. For this wedding, I was the second photographer for the lovely, Tara Brown. Tara is a brilliant wedding photographer and one of my dearest friends.
We started out our wedding day photography coverage by gathering and photographing all of the wedding details Kaarin and Jeff had put together. This is always one of my favorite things on a wedding day. And we started with Kaarin’s GORGEOUS dress and took it out to the entrance of Lord Hill Farms. Photographing a wedding dress is always a special challenge. But we nailed it!
The rest of the wedding details included Kaarin and Jeff’s wedding invitation suite in white and gray. Along with her beautiful bridal bouquet with pink roses and soft, delicate greenery. And of course, don’t ever forget the wedding rings. Kaarin’s engagement ring was a real stunner. It had an oval diamond surrounded by two halos of diamonds, with diamonds around the band. Jeff’s wedding band was engraved “To my Jeffrey with love. 8/6/16.” What a sweet touch.
Once Kaarin got into her wedding dress, we brought her to see Jeff for the first time. Their First Look was so special. Their reactions were sweet, and they both shed tears of joy. Then came some portraits of just the two of them. Lord Hill Farms has the most amazing grounds. There is greenery and gardens everywhere. Just up from on the hill are sweeping views of the Snohomish farmlands. And of course, the day was sunny and gorgeous.
After portraits of Kaarin and Jeff and bridal party and family photos, everyone tucked away for the wedding ceremony. Their ceremony space was decorated with lanterns and tons of flowers and candles. The Lord Hill Farms outdoor ceremony space is beautiful all on its own. But once it was decorated, it became a whole different world.
Kaarin and Jeff’s wedding ceremony was short and sweet and perfect for them. After their first kiss you could see the excitement on their faces, finally they were married!
Off to the reception all the wedding guests went. They enjoyed a delicious dinner (which we also got to enjoy), lovely toasts and some stunning first dances. Kaarin and her father started off with a traditional dance. And then broke out into a special choreographed dance they had been working on together.
As the guests danced through the night, Tara and I were able to sneak away with Kaarin and Jeff for some additional portraits. We didn’t quite have a sunset but the pretty light of the evening shined down on them.
Before Kaarin and Jeff drove off from their Lord Hills Farm Wedding at the end of the night, their guests treated them to a fun sparkler exit. Jeff dipped Kaarin at the end and gave her a huge kiss.
Again, thank you to Tara Brown for asking me to be her second photographer for this wedding. And to Kaarin and Jeff for letting me a part of their wonderful wedding.
