Wedding Cake! It’s what everyone is waiting for, after they’ve had a couple cocktails and some dinner. Come on cake! This past year I saw some adorable wedding cakes. From simple to elaborate. Flowers and ribbons.
A trend from 2015 was definitely to have a smaller cake instead of a large wedding cake. Then have cupcakes or other types of desserts to compliment for dessert. I’ve heard tell that in 2016, the large cake is going to be back “in.” I can’t wait to see if that is true and what we’ll see. I love those big elaborate cakes!
These wedding cakes are my favorites from 2015 – they’re not in any specific order, although I am pretty partial to this first cake. A simple three-layer wedding cake frosted with off-white frosting and decorated with simple leaves. So sweet and delicate.

This sweet cake is one of my ultimate favorites. The bottom layer was frosted and then covered in sugar! It created this wonderful texture.
