101 in 1001 Update

My 101 in 1001 list began in January 2013 – almost a year ago now. I’ve done a couple of updates through out the year on my progress. Almost 11 months in and of the 92 goals I was able to come up with, I have only completed 20. That’s a little disappointing for me since I’m Miss Over-achiever. Mostly I’ve focused on business goals and not so much on the personal goals.

Now that I’m a year in, more than a third of the way through this project I am taking a good hard look at the goals I’ve listed. I think I said when I started this project that I had a hard time projecting that far out into the future (almost 3 years) of goals that I may want to complete. And I reserved the right to change or edit the goals as I went along. Looking at the personal goals I have listed, I really think I need to reevaluate these. Many of the goals I have listed on the personal side are trips and it’s beginning to look more and more unrealistic that all of those trips can be made in less than 2 years. Would I love to make those trips? Of course. Is it realistic? Most likely not. So before I made a end of the year update to my list, I am going to look over all of the goals and see if there is anything I should change.

I can’t decide at this point if I feel this list is empowering or discouraging for me. I’m discouraged I haven’t completed as many goals as I thought I would have by now. But I am feeling motivated to get back at this and kick this list’s butt!
